How can you change your world for the better in only five to ten minutes?
In my opinion it starts by checking in with yourself every morning with a wonderful formula coined by Tony Robbins called priming. I have my own version of priming that I use and wanted to share with you. I know that many of us may be lethargic in the morning or maybe rush through breakfast to start work and a very busy day. But if you wake up only five to ten minutes early, you can make a difference in your day, your life and in your world. Here’s how it works:
- When you wake up, sit up in bed and begin to breathe very slowly in through your nose and out of your nose or mouth 20 times.
- Have a notebook or journal next to your bed and write down three things you are grateful for.
- Place your hand over your heart and visualize the sun’s light, energy and warmth covering you from the top of your head to the tips of your toes; then visualize the sun’s light, energy and warmth covering your loved ones; and then the sun’s light, energy and warmth covering the earth and all of its people and creatures.
That’s it. This quick exercise has proven to make a positive difference in my day and in my world — and I’m sure it can in yours as well. And who knows, maybe our high vibration in doing this simple exercise daily may make a positive change the entire world!
