What is Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a natural, heightened state of awareness that allows the body to relax and the subconscious mind to become more receptive to positive suggestions. In fact, there are many times during the day that we all enter a natural state of hypnosis, or trance state: when falling asleep and waking up (that fuzzy feeling), when driving, watching TV, listening to music, or working on a favorite hobby. Being in a trance state is normal and natural.

What is NLP?
Neuro-linguistics Programming (NLP) is a method of influencing brain behavior through the use of language and other types of communication to enable a person to reprogram the way their brain responds to stimuli and manifest new and better behaviors. It was designed to help individuals understand how verbal and nonverbal language affect our decision making. An NLP practitioner uses this powerful tool to assist a person’s ability to change their reality by changing the way a person internally views their world.
